## Description

From the manufacturer Instructions Please note: Do not dilute or mix Reviver with any other product! This would seriously impair the product performance and may damage your car. 1. Ensure that the soft top is dry and free from grease, dirt and previous waterproof coatings by thoroughly cleaning with Renovo Fabric Soft Top Cleaner before commencing application. 2. Unscrew the bottle top and pour Reviver into a suitable container/bowl. 3. Stir well prior to application 4. Apply Reviver with a new 5cm/2inch paintbrush using even strokes across the soft top. It is best to commence application in the centre of the soft top and as quickly as possible progress towards each side, the front and the back of the soft top. Wipe excess drips from paintwork, trims and glass with a damp cloth. Do not apply in direct sunlight, as this will cause the Reviver to dry out too quickly and produce an uneven result! 5. Depending on the condition of the top a litre of Reviver is usually sufficient for two coats on an average size soft top. It is important to allow Reviver to dry between coats. Always ensure that you have enough Reviver to coat the soft top completely and that you will not run out half way through application! 6. Renovo recommends applying at least two coats to achieve greater depth of colour on badly faded tops.7. Reviver can also be applied in the same way as above to the fabric on the interior of the top. 8. Allow the top to dry for approximately three hours, this will depend on the drying conditions. The Reviver may dry out more quickly if it is a warm day and may take longer to dry if it is a damp day! Do not take the car out in rain/wet weather until the Reviver has completely dried. 9. We advise that to prolong the life of the re-colour provided by Reviver, you should allow 24 hours drying time and then protect it by applying Renovo Ultra Proofer!

Review: It really does work, massive improvement to roof appearance - This is a really good product. I used a cleaner before applying, and the blue dye has added so much depth of colour. Was a little nervous when the first few brush strokes went on, but it dries darker. I used 1 bottle on a mini convertible roof and it looks good - however I will order a second bottle to ensure a really even coverage as my roof had a lot of tree sap stains. Really pleased with the overall improvement
Review: Great product - I was very nervous about using this on a 12 year old Astra Twin top as I didn't want streaks. I need not have worried. There is a very helpful demonstration film on YouTube by Renovo and everything worked exactly as they said it would. The cleaner got rid of the bulk of the dirt but struggled on some old mould and what looked like bird deposits, but the blue revolver sorted it with a brilliant uniform colour...no patches, streaks or repainting. I've also treated it and it still looks great. As regards quantities: I used about 250 Mls of the cleaner, and just under the 500 Mls of both the colour reviver and proofer. This is a great product.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this effect the paint or clear plastic window if it’s split on to it?**
A: No, but its a bugger to remove once its dried. I always spend a few hours masking off the screen plastic window, and local paintwork on my MG, to minimise Renovo splashes - and always keep a damp microfibre cloth to hand to wipe any spills as they happen. I restain my hood with Renovo, and reproof with AutoGlym every summer, and it looks good - even @ 15 years old!

**Q: My 2011 mini cooper soft top has a denim blue roof. Would this colour blue be right for re-colouring it?**
A: Well, Jenny, your car sounds like a 'classic' and soft-top denim blue roofs are relatively rare, I think?!
So, I would suggest getting it treated / restored professionally, although it wouldn't be cheap!
If you're low on budget, then yes, do give 'Renovo' a try - messy, but better than nothing if your roof is getting mould and mildew etc like mine!

**Q: What product is best for a VW Golf Cabrio Mk 3 or 4 (to cxlean the soft top).**
A: As far as I know the MK3/MK4 Golf Cabrio is a vinyl soft top (I have a MK3). At the bottom of the bottle in the image it says not for vinyl soft tops so I'm guessing you'll need a different product. Hope this helps.

**Q: Have applied to Audi TT and am devistated with the colour it is almost black is there any way of removing or covering?**
A: Hi Eric I used this product on a very faded MGF soft top and the results were very good. I did do a second coat and the sun came out which made some areas a little streaky and greyish. so I left it and then recovered the roof on a dull day and it was fine. I have no ides how you would you would remove this - speak to the manufacturer I guess Cheers

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, with plenty to go round

I decided to use my extra time at home to renovate my car's soft top, which over time had faded and acquired some patches of algæ stains. It's vital to clean the roof thoroughly first and allow it time to dry completely. I then hoovered the roof to remove dust and dried dirt, then applied the first coat of "reviver". Take care when opening the bottle - the cap is very secure, and if you've shaken the bottle you'll spill it! I liked the simplicity of painting it onto the fabric of the roof: it makes it easier to apply it evenly and to get right to the edges without getting it on the car's paintwork or glass. Keep a rag handy to wipe off any drips that do escape, though. This 500ml bottle was plenty for three coats on my two-seater roadster. In fact two coats were very effective, and I only decided to apply the third because I still had almost half a bottle, and I had plenty of time. After 24 hours, I applied waterproofer in the same way, again giving it three coats, which was in fact as much as the soft top would take. The colour is now noticeably darker and more even, and there's no trace of any of the algæ patches. Overall I'm very satisfied with the results.
