There are no animal products or by products used the production of African black soap. We also handle the soap in animal free zone. **Q: Good morning, What are the exact ingredients for this product?** A: Hi there, I think you would be better asking the seller this question but it does have shea butter in it, pot ash and probably coconut oil but no caustic soda or alcohol to dry or irritate the skin. For washing face and body it leaves the skin feeling superclean and has a light moisturising effect. It's also the best shampoo for washing my hair that I've ever used.
