On line it says its compatible on the box it says 4th and 5th generation.** A: Yes. You can use any square iPod Shuffle. The current Shuffle works! **Q: can you use this with an iphone instead of a ipod?** A: Hi Becky - No. This only works with the iPod Shuffle (square model).
