Admittedly these are the second pair I've had to have, for first review see below but what a difference a few weeks makes. You would think at first look at and through that they are a completely different make and model. It is so far as I can tell a sharper and more clear picture. They also seem a sturdier to the touch.Though the neck strap is still same size and material. The objective lens covers have a nice touch too as they are attached (but removable) and like when I was a kid they have pin hole openings for really sunny conditions.I'll test again in field next week.Think ive been a bit generous with the 2 stars. I suppose you should not expect a suitable product for this price???I have many little but annoying issues with them.Main one being the military scale on the lense, is on the one lense which you have to adjust to focus so if you have poor eye sight it wont be usable. So instead of being of use it just blocks the view.I wont mention the build quality, the price is a reflection of that.The sling is way to short, and the fasteners they gave with it are, well lets just say they dont work.There is no markings on the zoom, in the centre to set the gap between the eyes.I could go on but ive not given them a field trial yet. So the other issues can wait.27th July 2017Ive now tested these binoculars for a few weeks now in all weathers, except snow& ice. Unfortunately they these binoculars are hopelessly awful in the field as they are in the back garden, the picture quality is awful the zoom is awful and grainy. the neck sling is way to short and uncomfortable, a length of barred wire would more comfortably. For what they are they are they are very weighty.If you want my advice save up and get a better set. I will be giving these to my 9year old to play in the back garden with. It works ok as a normal binoculars but definitely not night vision as they put on the add.
