They are 60 denier with a fabric content of 85% Nylon and 15% Lycra. These tights are only 40 denier from the waist to upper thigh to allow for extra cross stretch and are 60 denier throughout the legs. Sizing of the product does run rather large so if you are falling between two sizes take the smaller one. These tights are matte and opaque, but may appear slightly thinner with lighter colors. I weigh about 320 pounds, with a disproportionate amount of weight in my hips and thighs. When I do find tights in my size, they're very stiff, they bag at the ankle, and the seams have been known to cut me until I bleed. FINALLY!!! a pair of tights that are soft, that fit perfectly, that have no 'sharp' seams. Yay!!!!! I fully intend to get every color they make in my size, including the 'splash' colors, which look tie-dyed. Comfy, soft soft soft tights that easily fit over my hips, that don't bag, and that come I n fun colors, and that are affordable. If you buy from the We Love Color website, there's free shipping too. On Amazon you pay a flare rate of about $5 no matter how many pairs you buy.I HIGHLY recommend these to any woman who has a hard time finding tights and hose in her size; I think you'll be delighted! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice and no runs! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2017* I probably got too big a size but I have large legs and I hate hose or tights that bag in-between your legs! I was also tired of trying to find white hose that fit for work (I do clinical nursing with nursing students and wear a uniform and need white hose). The problem with hose is that they always run and sometimes even on the first wear or two, so I was looking for something more durable and let's face it, comfortable. I have no bagging with these but they do bunch up at my waist because they are so long. I could probably pull them up to my chest if i tried, but all in all, they are really comfortable on my legs. They are also easy to put on (I am not dancing all across the room trying to pull them up like with hose). While there is some bunching at the waist, it does not seem to dig in, so I am fine with that. They are soft and opaque which I also like. I have been wearing these now for 3-4 weeks (2 times a week), and they are holding up nice (even after washing and yes, I do put them in the washer and dryer even though they say to hand wash) and they come out fine (still no bunching, no sagging, no runs). I even bought a second pair for clinical. I am thinking of getting another pair or two in different colors to wear with my dresses, skirts, etc., for winter. They are warm but not hot. The fusia and hot pink are beautiful. My daughter accidentally put them through the washer and dryer and they are still perfect. I almost didn't order because of the price but feel they are worth it.
