Review: Give it a try!! - I haven't been using this cream very long, but already I have seen a difference in the overall health of my skin. I am 40, with fair skin that is in rather good condition (not perfect though !!), but have recently started using retinol (for about 5 months) and then noticed that with that, comes a bit of redness... but maybe that could have been coming on with age to, if I'm to be honest. I tried using a cream with vitamin K in it, but found it was way too thick and never sunk into my skin ; it just sat on top, annoying and ugly because then my make up just layered over that. I knew of the benefits of sea buckthorn but have never used a cream with the oil in it (I have used the oil in my hair or neat on my skin now and then) so when I was searching for a nourishing cream to counteract the retinol as well as improve my skin, I decided on this product. I have not been disappointed at all !! At night I am able to use the retinol, as well as the ArganOrganics cream, and when I wake up my skin looks even better than when I used the retinol alone. It's not a heavy cream, or even a truly light one, but the texture is perfect and it doesn't rest on the surface of my face like many do ; instead it soaks in and enriches it. I didn't really have any lines to worry about, but the ones I did have a plumped a bit (a healthy plump, not one because of topical irritation). The cream doesn't irritate my skin or clog my pores either. The colour shouldn't be off-putting to one thinking of using this product. While it is rather orange, it doesn't make the skin orange. Just to be on the safe side, avoid using a white pillow at night though (small price to pay for the benefits). I have been using it in the morning too, as I have come to prefer this to my normal day cream with spf. Topped with my make-up that does have a bit of sun protection, that is fine for every-day purposes for me. A few other reviewers commented on the scent. There is a scent, but I would not describe it as bad, earthy, etc. I was surprised because I assumed it would smell like sea buckthorn oil (fruity) and it doesn't. I have had laser surgery in Harley Street thus spending about 800 pounds in the process. This worked to some degree in removing thread veins however did not reduce the redness that I suffer on my cheeks, nose and forehead. I do not suffer from the pimples I often hear from other Rosacea sufferers but around my cheeks and forehead it is often dry and flaky. I was prescribed steroid creams and gels but after reading reviews on all these creams I was very reluctant to put them on my skin as they are very harsh, drying and thin the skin. Then finally after so much research I came across this miracle cream on desertcart. I purchased it on October 30 2014, as soon as it arrived (the next day) I applied straight away. By the afternoon I had noticed the redness especially on my cheeks reduce and by the second day I actually went to the park with my kids with NO makeup on! I have not done this in years! The redness is still slightly there but it has significantly reduced by about 70% and I have only been using it for 3 days now. I am hoping that this cream continues to work and not only is it organic and seems to absorb into the skin rapidly it is not expensive and a little goes a long way. I am using it morning and night. I feel I need a cleanser to help in my fight against Rosacea so I will be purchasing the Lemongrass cleansing bar from Dawn Limited which judging by the reviews seems to work wonders too. **Q: Please can someone tell me how effective this product was at reducing facial redness and flushing of the skin for them?**
A: Hi, Miriam. I have used this cream for about 6months. My cheeks flaked, and where red, rosy, flush also on my chin and nose. I put it on 2-3 times a day, they are smooth, not red and soft! I haven't had soft skin in a while! I also use other products from Arganorganics, they're a brilliant find and get value for money and doesn't sting skin like other products I've used. I haven't been using this cream very long, but already I have seen a difference in the overall health of my skin. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Bit disappointed, but still a good cream

I was a bit disappointed with this cream. I have had red rosy cheeks and red along my eyebrows for most of my life. Never got it checked out as it didnt bother me too much, but as this is an anti redness cream I assumed it would do something more. I have given a 3 star as I do like the packaging, the texture is good and it doesn't leave my face looking greasy etc. But hasn't done anything to stop any redness. Ive had it for around 2 weeks to a month and still have a lot left so it really does go a long way which is also good as its not a cheap face cream. Overall I think it depends on the persons exact skin, it may not of worked for me, but it might help with any redness you may have.
