Product Description King Innovation 62225 DryConn Outdoor Electrical Wire Connector 20/Bag, Aqua/Red From the Manufacturer DryConn Waterproof Connectors can be used wherever moisture or corrosion exists. DryConn Waterproof Connectors is an innovative, patented product line that was responsible for rapid company growth in the 1990's. The unique twist-on connector is pre-filled with silicone sealant to make it simple to waterproof splices and protect against corrosion. The product is easy to install, and eliminates the need for using time-consuming products like heat shrink, tape, mastics and corrosion kits. The products are available for Outdoor/Irrigation, Outdoor/Electrical, Direct Bury and Low Voltage usage.

Review: Excellent product, although a little pricey - I bought these when I replaced my landscape lights and used 10G wire, but it turns out that the connectors on the lights fit the wire with no problem, so I only ended up using 4 nuts. I had bought 2 packs :'-( The ones that I did use were excellent! I had to splice (3) 10G wires and (1) 18G wire together near a small goldfish pond (read, moist soil), and this fit perfectly and screwed on nice and tight. The caulk on the inside sealed them up perfectly, so even after burying them in the wet soil there was no voltage drop. As others said, the caulk is SUPER sticky!! After I screwed each one on, though, I picked up some dirt and rubbed it in to my hands; that worked fine to remove the stickiness, and washed off later with no problem. I kind of think that I could have saved some money by using regular wire nuts and just squirting silicone caulk in it before screwing in the wire, but I'm not positive it would have been the same. These were good for the job, though, I just wish that I would have realized that I had overpurchased earlier so I could at least return one of the packs.

**Q: Your product info states "For complete list of approved wire combinations......"    Where would one find the approved wire combinations?**
A: This product has the same size specs as the yellow Ideal wire nut ie: Minimum: 2 conductors AWG 18 + 1 conductor AWG 14; Maximum: 2 conductors AWG 14 + 1 conductor AWG 10 (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twist-on_wire_connector )

**Q: As per my reading of the chart, these nuts will fit 3 #14 wires, right? Or 1 #14 and 2 #16 wires?**
A: The DryConn Aqua/Red Waterproof Wire Connectors are UL Listed for 3 #14 wires. They are not UL Listed for 1 #14 w/2 #16. If you need a Waterproof Wire Connector that is listed for 1#14 w/2 #16 the DryConn Aqua/Orange can accommodate that combination. **Q: I'm want to use these to join 2 AWG 14 wires. Will this be the right connector?**
A: Absolutely not.  These are not listed to splice 14 2-AWG conductors.
