The padded angular portion of the octopus is so great for not only tummy time but she loves being able to be propped up looking around. It is plush enough for hardwood floors and the crinkly legs and rattles are perfect for her kicking feet and hands! It's bright colors and patterns are perfect for her little eyes to look at and the little mirror at the top is a great tool for her developing senses. It can be used to have the baby lay down but if your baby starts to roll over they will land on the floor because the diameter of this is rather small. It can be used to put them on tummy time again if the roll over as they start doing or lift their legs and they will go head first to the floor.
