You just need to use it with a microfiber cloth instead of the included white pads. **Q: It looks great for a while, but then after I use windex to clean the widows, the spots reappear. What are the longterm care instructions?** A: We have never heard of that phenomenon. If you live in an area that has very hard water, it may be wise to treat the glass with a hydrophobic coating after cleaning off the spots. Something like a Rain-X or Aquapel would help prevent more spots from reoccurring. **Q: Does this work on headlights?** A: It depends. Most modern headlight are made of Policarbonate. Older vehicles often had glass headlights. ProClean would work well on older glass headlights. However, it is not designed for use on clear plastic surfaces. **Q: can it remove other stuff on your windshield that are baked in spots** A: Yes and yes... this is the ONLY thing that has worked Period! A must buy if you want to remove those baked in acid rain spots. My only regret is that I stumbled upon it recently after years of trying various other products. Requires a significant amount of elbow grease to apply and buff... but the results are eyes poping and unbelievably sureal.
