The wood shank and core are fully bonded to the SV method, so it is very difficult to break. Available in a total of 16 hardness, making it easy to use and a wide range of expressions. Good pencils. Make things good and dark. I'm using them in an art class and they're really doing the job well. They can be erased okay, not that I erase much. I had no problems with breakage or anything like that. Very good pencils. The picture is one I did for a class. Yes, that's pencil.
