Review: Great product, solidly build and at a great price - Great product, solidly build, was shipped knocked down and yet in a way that it was very easy to assemble. And the sweetener is the price. 2 days after installation : There are some concerns about usability (nothing wrong with the product). i) Its internal size is 60x54inch. There are no good mattresses available for that size. So had to buy a smaller size mattress 60x48inch. ii) Once upper bunk is covered, there will be no light and air in the lower bunk. So mostly you have to rely on AC. This is something which is obvious but I was excited and never thought about this before my purchase.

**Q: Can an adult sit up in the bottom bunk comfortably without hitting their head?**
A: No.  I am 5'6" and can only sit up on the bottom bunk if I am slouched - if I sit straight up my head hits the top bunk.  This isn't an issue for us as my 7 year old uses the bottom bunk, but would be an issue if it were my 13 or 15 year old using it.

**Q: Purchased this item on may 8th 2020 and it said 2 day shipping and expected delivery may10-may18 .... it is now may 16th and it still has not shipped**
A: Mine was delivered in 6 days. Ordered on a Friday and was delivered on the next Thursday .

**Q: On the twin over full bunkbed, would a 14 in full mattress work on the bottom?**
A: I think it would fit, but not well. I don't think it would give you much space between the mattress and the top bunk.

**Q: What depth mattress was used for top bunk?**
A: Unfortunately, I went with 6" memory foam mattresses on top and bottom based on responses I read. I wish I had gone thicker. I've read of a lot of others who have with no issues (see following similar questions and customer photos). I'm 5'2" and sleep on the bottom with lots of head space sitting up. I could have easily gone 8" on top and bottom. The 6" just doesn't give me enough cushion. I believe the manufr recommends 6" from what I've read on top so as not to go over the guard rail. I just find 6" to be too thin. Up to you ultimately of course. see less

Overall met expectation. One thing disappointed was the gap between the support rods. Description days it's less than 8cm but actual it's close to 15cm which is not good for mattress life. I had to add plywood support. Other thing to note is once upper bed is placed with mattress air circulation is very minimal for the bottom bed. Something to keep in mind. Kids loved it. Meterial otherwise feels very sturdy.
