Instant reduction in talking sounds and machine sounds are completely silenced. People talking at normal loudness are inaudible if they are a few meters away from you. For even better reduction in noise, use cotton plugs or silicone ear plugs. Fits very well, covers the ears completely but doesn't press them against your head. I got it for INR 1500. Compared to ANC earphones which cost 1000s of bucks and still struggle to block noise, this is a 100% more sensible investment if your primary requirement is ambient noise cancellation.
