From the manufacturer Ascend to the Divine Realm The capricious gods have granted you the right to perform for their amusement, and perhaps, if you prove victorious, you may even join them in the divine realm. Choose your destiny and craft your dice in every game of Dice Forge! What is Dice Forge? Make your own luck with Dice Forge, a game of crafting dice and heroic deeds for two to four players! Dice Forge is a board game from Libellud that challenges you to harness your powers and challenge up to three other players in a battle for dominance. During the game, your dice provide the resources you need, but throughout the game, you’ll change your dice, snapping new faces on and improving your chances of claiming victory. When the gods call an end to your contest, the player with the most glory wins the game. Change Your Dice Every player begins the game with two dice, and these dice are the primary way that you will gain more resources—gold, sun shards, and moon shards. You don’t just receive resources on your own turn, either! At the beginning of each player’s turn, every player will roll their two dice and claim the resources shown on their own dice. At the beginning of the game, your dice are weak, providing very small benefits. As the game goes on, however, you’ll have the chance to improve your dice. After every player has rolled their dice and collected resources, the active player has the chance to take an action—and one of your most important actions is to visit the temple. In Dice Forge, the temple is the source of new die faces that you can purchase and snap onto your die, replacing one of your die’s existing faces. Heroic Deeds The second action that you can take on your turn is to move your player pawn to any one of the celestial islands, purchasing a new card by spending sun or moon shards. Every card has a cost, and by paying it you may add the card to your hand. Every card among the celestial islands offers unique powers that you can harness to gain the advantage throughout the game. You may expand your reserves with The Blacksmith’s Chest, allowing you to hold more gold and shards. You may claim a Great Bear, which gives you glory points every time you oust a hero from their position or you are ousted yourself. You may defeat the Sentinel, who allows you to transform your shards into glory, or you may discover the Helmet of Invisibility, which grants you a special die face to add to your dice! Not only do these creatures and relics grant you special abilities, they’re each worth glory points at the end of the game. Since glory is the final metric for determining victory, you’ll need to accomplish many heroic feats to win the game! Gain Extra Turns Together, these two actions—visiting the temple and accomplishing heroic deeds—are the heart of a game of Dice Forge. On your turn, you’ll only be able to perform one of these actions, but you can gain the power to perform an additional action by paying two sun shards. In a game that only lasts nine or ten rounds, an additional action can have a huge impact, so you’ll need to carefully weigh how to spend your shards and your actions.

Pros : 1) Easy to Set up 2) Amazing Art 3) Materials are of good quality 4) Game with many possibilities and the fact that you could change the dice face is unique and makes it feel like lego Cons 1) Fiddly to put the dice face on at the beginning as its new, however, this isn't a problem once you have played with them a few times. Overall I would recommend this game as it is fun , takes 30 -40 minutes per game, has endless outcomes and you wont be bored! Hope this has helped your decision in making a purchase!

**Q: Can this be played with 2 players?**
A: Yes.  The main difference between 2 and 3/4 players is that that each player rolls their dice twice each each turn.  I have played it two player once, and it was not that interesting compared to the 3 or 4 player version. There is limited interaction between players in this game, and with only two players, even that is drastically reduced.  The dice that affect other players have only one target and there is much less competition for tiles and cards. I would not recommend this if you were getting it solely to as a 2 player experience.

**Q: Is this game 2-4 players or 2-6 players?**
A: It's actually 2-4 given it has only 4 player boards.

**Q: Are the dice good quality? Do they seem like they will last? I’m hesitant to pull the trigger on this, even though the reviews look amazing!**
A: They are a tiny bit fragile perhaps. The first time we played one of the dice chipped. I contacted asmodee and they immediately sent me another free of charge. Honestly I would not worry about it too much. Just don’t go crazy and throw them super hard and you will be fine.

**Q: Are the exchangeable dice sides plastic or cardboard?**
A: They are durable plastic and my kids under 11 play it all the time. I find it easiest to remove the pieces with the key looking paint can opener. we've had it for over a year and it has seen lots of use. Good luck and happy gaming to all.

I bought this game as a birthday present for my husband. We have now played it numerous time, and it is still fun for us as there are many possibilities. Pros : 1) Easy to Set up 2) Amazing Art 3) Materials are of good quality 4) Game with many possibilities and the fact that you could change the dice face is unique and makes it feel like lego Cons 1) Fiddly to put the dice face on at the beginning as its new, however, this isn't a problem once you have played with them a few times. Overall I would recommend this game as it is fun , takes 30 -40 minutes per game, has endless outcomes and you wont be bored! Hope this has helped your decision in making a purchase!
