The radio has some pre set stations but I found that I had to tune the radio manually in order to avoid lots of interference noise. **Q: Does this alarm clock come with a 3 pin plug fitted for Uk?**
A: Yes, it has 3 pin British plug.

**Q: Picture shows time at 18:35.  Is this a 24hr clock version?  Thanks.**
A: I think this is only a 12hr clock as there is no mention in the user manual and there is a PM light on the front, so looks like the picture is wrong, unless there is some other option I can not see.  It states at the back of the manual its a regular time clock (12- hour), EG. if you require a wake up at 12 noon 12:30, ensure alarm is set to PM 12:30 (pm indicator lights up during your setting process)Thanks

**Q: Sorry another question, how do I set it do it’s the radio that acts as the alarm not the beeping?**
A: Press the V-/AL1 button twice until the red dot goes to beside the little music note on the display then press the M+/Set button

I initially bought an Akai alarm clock from a high street store but ended up having to return it for a refund as the buttons were far too small making it virtually impossible to do the most basic function. This clock has a large digital display that can be dimmed to avoid disturbing you during the night, but is also bright enough that you can easily see the time when you're half asleep. The buttons to set up the clock, alarms and radio are made from rubber which sit proud on the top making it easy to use. Great little clock radio! Bought for a present for my mother. Numbers are big enough to see without glasses, she doesn't use alarm, but radio reception is great. Easy to set up and use would definitely recommend for the price.
