Leucillin is used to clean and flush minor wounds, Leucillin is soothing to sensitive skin, yet provides you with a powerful solution. Leucillin, What is it? Leucillin contains the active ingredient Hypochlorous (HOCl); this is a naturally occurring chemical in the mammalian body produced by white blood cells. Hypochlorous is one of the most effective and efficient biocides known to man. Whilst being totally safe, it is 300 times more effective than bleach and is almost instant in its effect and bacteria do not develop immunity to it. What Does Leucillin Do? It kills germs instantly by destroying them on contact. What Makes Leucillin the Best? Its Fast acting Extra strength Hypochlorous. Due to the speed in which surviving bacterial cells can reproduce, a 99.9% kill rate is not sufficient. Leucillin is an extra strength formula, which kills 99.99999%, ensuring that not a single pathogen cell survives. Leucillin Antiseptic Spray... Effective on all animals Cleverly works in harmony the body’s immune system Contains NO alcohols, antibiotics or steroids Maintains healthy itch-free skin Non-toxic, skin pH neutral, 100% safe Does not sting or irritate Does not harm healthy tissue Does not require rinsing How safe is Leucillin? Because Hypochlorous is a natural chemical already existing in the body, animals with skin sensitivity will not suffer any adverse reactions to Leucillin, it is 100% safe to use on sensitive areas such as, cuts and open minor-wounds and is completely harmless to be ingested where domestic pets are likely to lick at treated areas. Is Leucillin Competition Safe? Leucillin “tests free” for all competition animals. For equines, Leucillin contains no substances prohibited under the FEI or Jockey Club banned chemicals for competition. Review: A must-have for pet first aid – effective and saved me a vet visit - I’ve now used this on two separate occasions with my older cat, and it’s become something I always keep on hand as part of basic pet first aid. The first time was for a skin allergy where he developed scabs. I applied it 2–3 times a day, and within a few days the area had cleared up and healed really well without needing anything stronger. The second time was more serious — he came back from a fight with a bite that had become infected. After gently cleaning the wound, I used this regularly, and it worked effectively as both a disinfectant and a soothing treatment. It helped keep the area clean and supported healing without any obvious irritation. It has no smell at all, the bottle spray doesn't make any sound which is great for more skittish cats and it goes a long way so it's a good value for money. What I like most is that it’s very easy to use and well tolerated — no stinging or distress when applied, which makes a big difference with cats. It’s also ended up saving me a significant amount in potential vet fees for minor issues that can be safely managed at home. Overall, a really useful product to have on hand. I wouldn’t rely on it for serious injuries, but for minor wounds, skin issues, and general first aid, it’s been excellent. Update: a neighbour used it on post spay wound that wasn't healing well on her little Bichon and it worked wonders.
