## Description

Collection of five animated features following the adventures of the DC Comics superhero. In 'Superman: Unbound' (2013), with the help of his cousin Supergirl (voice of Molly C. Quinn), Superman (Matt Bomer) goes up against extraterrestrial villain Brainiac (John Noble), who has been wreaking havoc across the universe, stealing cities and destroying planets, including the hero's home Krypton. With Brainiac now on Earth, Superman does all he can to prevent it, and its people, from meeting the same fate. In 'Superman: Doomsday' (2007), Superman (Adam Baldwin) goes up against his toughest opponent yet when LexCorps unintentionally release a powerful villain known as Doomsday. In an attempt to save the city of Metropolis Superman must engage in a fight to the death. In 'Superman Vs The Elite' (2012), Superman (George Newbern) questions the methods of The Elite, a new group of superheroes led by Brit Manchester Black (Robin Atkin Downes), who believe the only way to rid the world of evil is to kill villains. Superman, however, is determined to protect the people of Earth without causing more death. As The Elite's exploits get out of hand, Superman finds himself with no choice but to take them down. In 'Superman/Batman: Public Enemies' (2009), Superman (Tim Daly) and Batman (Kevin Conroy) join forces to destroy a Kryptonite meteor that is heading directly towards Earth. With new US President Lex Luthor (Clancy Brown) wanting to take the glory for the meteor's destruction, however, Superman finds himself accused of murder and both he and Batman, with the help of Power Girl (Allison Mack), must successfully defeat an army of villains before they can continue with their plans to save the world. In the sequel, 'Superman/Batman: Apocalypse' (2010), Superman (Daly)'s cousin Kara Zor-El (Summer Glau) arrives in Gotham City but causes problems when she is unable to control her powers. After training at Themyscira, Kara is captured by the evil Darkseid (Andre Braugher). With the help of some fellow heroes, including Batman (Conroy), Superman goes to rescue his cousin.

Review: Worth it for Elite alone! - This pack comes with 5 Superman films; Superman vs The Elite; Based of the comic, 'What's so funny about Truth, Justice and the American Way?', this is the The best animated film of Superman that explores his characters early 20th century morales in a cynical 21st century world. Superman questions whether or not he's suitable to protect the world or not, if his values aren't reciprocated by the people, can he still be called their champion? Should he change who he is to adapt to an ever changing world? How can he show the world that the days of trials before execution haven't gone yet, that vigilantes are not above the law. To show the world the horrors of death, will the Man of Steel be prepared to kill? Or will he die defending the the world of yesterday? Superman: Doomsday; The film version of the story arch, 'The death of Superman'. A monster called Doomsday has been awoken, and is destroying Metropolis, and only Superman can stop it, no matter the cost. But there is more behind the scenes, with Lex Luthor ever obessing over the the Man of Tomorrow, even after his death. Superman: Brainiac Based of the comic, 'Brainiac', Superman and Supergirl join forces to fight the Collector of Worlds, Brainiac as he sets his sights on Earth. Superman/Batman: Apokolyps More Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman to be exact, as the founders of the Justice League must travel to the world of Apokalyps, home of Darkseid to rescue the newly found Supergirl. Superman/Batman: Public Enemies When Lex Luthor becomes president, Batman and Superman must clear their names after being proclaimed criminals. With a ridiculously low price, it's well worth it for any of these films, but for 5? If you love Superman, DC or simply comic films, buy this!
Review: an entertaining collection of animated films - This is a collection of 5 animated movies, presenting various Superman adventures. The set consists of: 'Superman: Doomsday' (2007), 'Superman/Batman: Public Enemies' (2009), 'Superman/Batman: Apocalypse' (2010), 'Superman Vs The Elite' (2012), and 'Superman: Unbound' (2013). Each is a well-made, feature-length story. These films are part of the DC Universe Original Animated Movies catalogue, and are produced by the team behind the Justice League animated series. Each of these films can be purchased separately, and typically cost £5-10. As such, at about £13 for this collection it's a bargain. Some of these films are very good - especially 'Public Enemies' and 'Apocalypse'. Others are okay - namely 'Doomsday' and 'Unbound'. Finally, 'The Elite' is something of a let down. As such, it's a mixed bag. But if you're a fan of Superman then you'll likely enjoy giving each of them a watch. These movies are action-packed and do contain plenty of fighting and depictions of violence. As such, these are not really suitable for young children. Overall, this is an entertaining collection of superhero films. If you're a fan of the Man of Steel then I recommend this item.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ All great movies!
*by S***I on 24 July 2013*

I picked this up due to the hype off Man Of Steel. I had already seen all but 1 of the movies and have been very pleased that all of them are very good. DOOMSDAY makes for an interesting idea as a sequel to MoS but looks like that won't happen thanks to the announcement of Superman / Batman sequel in 2015. Thoroughly enjoyable movies all and well worth the money!
