How do i measure to find which one i need?** A: There is only one size of inlet valve, SV81767, a different size would have a different code number. If your concerned about the height then look for the SV89767 which is a height adjustable valve. **Q: Does this come with a ball valve and arm?** A: No. The black float moves up and down with the water level. As the water level rises the float causes the valve at the top of the white column to close. Water level adjustment is via the long threaded white plastic screw that passes through the black float. **Q: How do you adjust the water levels** A: The black plastic float moves up as the water level increases. You adjust its position up and down by turning the threaded white plastic shaft that runs through the float ( the further down the float the sooner it stops water entering the cistern). I forget if it's clockwise or anticlockwise to lower the float, but, hey, there is only two possibilities.
