Review: Great - Really great my little brother loves it! It is light sensitive though so can’t be used when it’s darker. Also it goes of randomly so remember to turn it off :)
Review: Very nice, great sounds - As with all wooden toys I've purchased from Melissa & Doug, the quality of the material and the paintings are just great. The sound effects are also fabulous, loud and clear. The pieces are light and easy for my 1 year old to take out of the puzzle easily, no sticking. You can turn the sound on and off, which is a god send if your wee one has lost a piece and you can't find it for a couple hours....!! I only wish that the sounds were activated when you lifted the pieces out of the puzzle, not just when you put them in. But this is the only thing I feel is lacking. All round great.

**Q: Why does this toy randomly start playing the song when no-one is using it?**
A: Hi Lara!  Here are a few important details to know about our sound puzzles: They’re light-activated, and once new batteries have been installed, it’s best to use the puzzle in a brightly lit room. When you remove a puzzle piece from the board, you’ll see a little circle, which is the light sensor. Once the sensor has been exposed to light, you’ll hear the sound when you place the puzzle piece back on the board. If playing with your puzzle in a well-lit room does not make each piece “sound off” consistently, please give us a call at 800-2884-3948 and we'll be more than happy to help you. Please have the puzzle nearby when you call so that we can get some information from the puzzle itself. Talk to you on Monday!

**Q: Is this American sounds or UK sounds?**
A: I think it was English sounds. But it was a long time ago.

**Q: Does this make sound effects when you put the puzzle piece in the space or take it out? Also is it just animal noises or music? Thank you in advance!**

As with all wooden toys I've purchased from Melissa & Doug, the quality of the material and the paintings are just great. The sound effects are also fabulous, loud and clear. The pieces are light and easy for my 1 year old to take out of the puzzle easily, no sticking. You can turn the sound on and off, which is a god send if your wee one has lost a piece and you can't find it for a couple hours....!! It’s nicely made, good images and sounds. However, if you don’t put all the pieces back it will randomly play the sound of the missing piece ! The volume is very loud! Thankful that there’s an off and on switch at the back!
