It is quite fragrant - think dry, grassy, shrubby field in the summer - flavorful. I usually put a small handful of leaves in about 20oz of 190F water, steep for about 5m, then remove them and reuse them for a second 20oz. I have not noticed any health benefits to the tea, nor psychological benefit for that matter. I don't see it as a calming tea, just a very pleasant herbal one. I would order this again.
