I’d recommend asking the maker. **Q: Please may i ask if putting this on a wooden dovecote roof would i still need to use tacks or is this good enough to use without tacks? thank you** A: If applied all over the roof it possibly would be ok, however to be more reliable over time I would put in a few tacks - one each corner and then every 100 mm round edges on all overlaps where the felt is turned round the edges at an angle.
