It delivers blazing 40 Gb/s data transfer speeds and can power up to six 4K displays simultaneously. ## Description

Turn Your Computer Into a Graphics Powerhouse Trying to play graphically taxing games or perform professional video editing on notebook all-in-on and small form factor computers can at best be described as unsatisfactory. Damage to the machine can even occur from pounding on it in frustration! That's because the built-in graphical processing power is either immediately woefully inadequate for intensive uses or over time has fallen behind the latest technology. The AKiTiO Node Titan is an external graphics processing unit (eGPU) that lets you transform your notebook or other slotless computer (Mac mini iMac NUC etc.) into a high-performance gaming video editing and graphics workstation for a fraction of the cost of buying or building a new machine. It connects to a Thunderbolt 3-equipped computer and offers the power and space needed for today's most popular double-wide full-length/full-height AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards. Edit from AnywhereFaster If you've dreamed of a portable editing system welcome to a new workflow reality. The Node Titan turns notebook computers like the MacBook Pro into a powerful NLE (Non-Linear Editing) machine. No more system performance slowing to a crawl with even basic effectsnow you knock out effects-laden timelines and high-quality exports with immediate time-saving ROI. By adding a second Node Titan you can tap into the processing power of multiple eGPUs for exponential gains in timeline performance and accelerated renders and exports.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it fit Microsoft Surface pro 7?**
A: Hello. The Akitio Node Titan would not be compatible with a Microsoft Surface Pro 7.

**Q: Is the psu upgradable? if so, what are the dimension limitations of the replacement psu?**
A: Despite what OWC says, the PSU in this is actually completely upgradeable. It's a standard SFX PSU. The only concern is you need to make sure the plug/switch layout won't hit the frame of the Node Titan. As long as that's not an issue, you're good to go. All you have to do is unscrew two screws on the right side of the case, on screw on the bottom near the case fan, then remove the two right side feet. That will allow you to slide the right side panel off and gain access to the PSU and its cables. Then just unscrew it from the rear and you're free to replace it. I tested it with a Corsair SF750 Platinum and it worked perfectly in the Node Titan.

**Q: Will this work with a radeon rx 6700xt card and a dell precision 5550?**
A: Hello. Looking at the Dell Precision it does not appear this has Thunderbolt 3/4 ports so this Akitio Node Titan would not be compatible as it needs a Thunderbolt Host. As far as the Radeon Rx 6700XT, it has not been specifically tested, but it does fit with the dimensions so I see it having no issues with being compatible.

**Q: .does this support the msi gaming geforce gtx 1660 super? i looked on the compatibility sheet on the website and didn't see it explicitly called out**
A: Hello. As the MSI Gaming Geforce GTX 1660 super has not been tested specifically, it does meet the specs of the Akitio Node Titan so it is safe to assume this is a compatible card with this eGPU.
