It was well worth the money and I would definitely buy it again if I ever needed another food processor. I probably use this at least 4 times a week, it is invaluable. I make nut butter weekly and it makes the creamiest hummus too. A friend recommended her Magimix and at the time it was a real contender but I am so pleased that I went with this choice instead. I have only used the shredding and cutting blades once but I use the blender weekly too. Cleaning the blender is a little fiddly but it's not difficult and means that food doesn't get trapped at the bottom. And to make nut butters, blend dates etc?** A: The blades and the power of this food processor does not have the strength to turn nuts into a smooth paste. This is a basic blender.
