Brightness seems like that of 40W so 35W description is definitely good. It seems very good, for now. LED bubs are supposto' last on an average of 10 years. Since I only just got this set of bulbs, I don't know how well they will perform in the long run, if they will live long. We spend extra $ on LED because they last, if they didn't last then we might as well buy spiral bulbs for near nothing and replace them every year or so. I will RE-review and star accordingly if they don't last for a minimum of 3+ years. ### ⭐ OK, but durability is a MAJOR issue. *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2018* Bulbs look fine and work good at first, but 2 of 6 have died just outside of the one-year warranty. Vendor discounted a replacement set after the first one failed, but I with the 2nd failing I wonder how much longer these will last.Updated 12/18: Lowering review to 1 star. 2 more bulbs have failed. This product has some serious quality issues. Seller does not offer replacement under their 1 year warranty - only a 50% code to buy more.Update 6/19 - Yet another bulb has failed. These are not designed to last! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product for Open-Globed Fixtures. *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2017* I bought these because they are dimmer than 40w and are also small enough to be hidden better in open-globe fixtures.NOTE: The reason I now give it 4 stars, is because as time has gone by, I have noticed a detectable frequency of light. When compared to other normal light sources, the light produced by these bulbs appears to be rapidly strobing on a barely noticeable level. I could be crazy, but I have seen this same problem on other LED bulbs.
