People have spoken about the watch strap and I have seen a comment about the strap looking like it can't be changed (it absolutely can) . It's not a bad strap at all, but not the best either. It is completely (and easily) changeable - do not base your decision on whether or not to buy this watch just on the strap. I currently have the stock strap on the watch - it wears and looks well - can't complain. You can hear it if you shake the watch to manually wind it. Love the watch well worth the money.. **Q: I have an 8" wrist. Will it fit?** A: I too have a 8” wrist. The existing band barely fit, so I replaced the band with a solid black Zulu strap. The strap is 22mm but it folded into the 21mm lug area very nicely. Orient later produced a second generation of the same watch with some upgrades to the movement. Here is how you tell Gen One from Gen Two just from looking at them quickly.
