I'm glad she laughs at Beatrice's mistakes. It's the first step to realising is not the end of the world when she makes mistakes. Even if your child isn't a perfectionist this story seems to play well to children. It's a good size book with interesting and relevant colour illustrations. The pages have a lot to talk about, besides the words. The subject allowed me to ask - what would you do? How do you think she felt? Why was that funny? And so on.
