**Q: Can the sharpener be permanently mounted to a surface (table, desk, shelf)?**
A: No, it cannot be permanently mounted onto a surface. This is one of the best hand crank (non-mounted) sharpeners ever, the quality of parts, build and especially the pencil sharpening tip is perfect each time. Once you get use to it's quick set up it sharpens like a boss!

**Q: Will it hold triangular bodied pencils? in multiple sizes?**
A: This pencil holder will not fit large size pencils regardless of shape (round or triangular).  Standard size triangular will fit, but may need to be oriented to match the three fingers in the pencil opening that grip and center the pencil.

**Q: Are replacement blades available?**

**Q: Why do sharpened pencils come out “lopsided” (i.e., exposed lead is sometimes 3-4mm longer than on the opposite side)? Should I return mine?**
A: If you are sharpening colored pencils and the “lead” is not absolutely centered, it will never sharpen straight.  If the lead is centered, there may be a defect in the sharpener.   Mine works perfectly
