Review: Very Important you choose the best! - Very happy with these, you really cannot choose a better product for your safety than these, St John's ambulance endorses these Resqme escape tools and they are made in America which ensures quality, goodness forbid you'll ever need to use one but if you do, these will absolutely keep you safe when it matters the most, there are alot of chinese ones that unfortunately lack in quality, I had one previously from a chinese brand that had a very soft metal glass breaker tip which deformed after a single test, these are fitted with a solid steel tip! It will last you and can be used multiple times due to steel being used, you can be sure it won't fail you in a time of need They are very small and portable and come with a key-ring so you can carry them nicely in your pocket and your keys Review: Excellent, if used and stored properly - First impressions, looked a little more robust in desertcart pictures. Its recommended/ designed for key ring storage, but i would be cautious. A key wedged in seat belt cutter, sitting on it with keys attached, banged around in glove box and I'm sure you could break it. I would recommend periodic inspection. Overall I don't question its functionality whilst in good condition and without repeated use. Tested on a notebook (paper inside), puts a hole in first few sheets and the dent shows up quite deep into the pad. Also purchased the Resqhammer, the resqme fits nicely into the handle and functions whilst inserted. This provides you with 2 seat belt cutters and two ways of breaking a window. The hammer is made from a nylon plastic which is much more robust. ## Features - Note: The accessories are not included and can be purchased separately for all similar ASINs - The razor-sharp blade is designed to slice through jammed seat belts and is safe to use thanks to its plastic casing. - Originally designed exclusively for fire, paramedic and police organisations, the tool is now available for all users. - Made in the USA. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000IDYKNC | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | 800 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) 7 in Escape Tools | | Brand Name | resqme | | Closure Type | Clip | | Colour | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 23,126 Reviews | | Fit Type | clip-on | | Fit to Size Sentiment | Positive | | Garment Size Country | Belgium | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00630932020014 | | Import Designation | Made in USA | | Included Components | resqme tool, clip, keychain, instructions | | Item Dimensions | 7.6 x 3.2 x 1.6 centimetres | | Item Shape | Oblong | | Item Type Name | car escape tool | | Item Weight | 0.5 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Innovation Distributing dba nov8 | | Manufacturer Part Number | 03.100.02 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | one year | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 01.100.02 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Style | 1 Resqme | | Size | 1 | | Special Features | Floating | | Theme | Vehicle | | UPC | 630932020014 630932351026 082266597357 785422548056 673424448583 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Colour:** Blue - **Included components:** resqme tool, clip, keychain, instructions - **Material:** Plastic - **Special feature:** Floating - **Theme:** Vehicle ## Images ![Resqme GBO-RQM-BLAU Car Escape Tool, Blue, 1 Resqme - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61fytlq7i5L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Important you choose the best! *by C***S on 8 September 2026* Very happy with these, you really cannot choose a better product for your safety than these, St John's ambulance endorses these Resqme escape tools and they are made in America which ensures quality, goodness forbid you'll ever need to use one but if you do, these will absolutely keep you safe when it matters the most, there are alot of chinese ones that unfortunately lack in quality, I had one previously from a chinese brand that had a very soft metal glass breaker tip which deformed after a single test, these are fitted with a solid steel tip! However its of pretty good quality. Plastic appears well made and because my partner decided to place his finger over the black part and push to 'test' how sharp the window smasher is...I can confirm it's pretty sharp! I trust this will do the job if I ever need it. My only issue is I can't decide where I want to hang it in the car. Stupid me go the bright orange one (so I can see it in a wreck)...but this doesn't lend itself very aesthetically to my car interior. It's currently on my car keys as a bulky keyring. A definite must in any car! ## Frequently Bought Together - resqme The Original Keychain Car Escape Tool, Made in USA (Blue) (01.100.02) - resqme Accessory Pack The Original Emergency Keychain Car Escape Tool, 2-in-1 Seatbelt Cutter and Window Breaker, Made in USA With Visor Clip, Lanyard, Keyring and Cable Tie - resqme Pack of 2, The Original Emergency Keychain Car Escape Tool, 2-in-1 Seatbelt Cutter and Window Breaker, Made in USA, Compact Safety Hammer- Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/48726266-resqme-gbo-rqm-blau-car-escape-tool-blue-1-resqme](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/48726266-resqme-gbo-rqm-blau-car-escape-tool-blue-1-resqme) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
