## Questions & Answers

**Q: will this fix alcohol inks?**
A: YES, YES, YES. I use acrylic colours for all my paintings on board or canvas. I always use charcoal for drawing, shading and even mixed with medium or water thrown on to the painting for effects. Wait until your work is dry, and then, before you fix it permanently, wave a very, very, very light mist of fixative so that the charcoal doesn't move when you next apply the final generous spray. If you spray boldly the first time the force of the compressed gas in the can will blow a lot of your charcoal marks where you don't want them to go.

**Q: Does this product provide UV protection?**
A: No

**Q: has anyone used this on dried flowers to preserve them?**
A: I've done it several times with success

**Q: Can I use this over coloured pencils to seal my drawing? ( basically if I have a drawing that I have done on paper with wax-based coloured pencils)**
A: Yes you can just be careful not to spray to thick

Had my doubts but my sketches are holding up better without smudges and retains the sketch integrity (no fading over time). The finish is clear and doesn't leave a texure, makes it easier to store on the same day.
