Review: Surprisingly okay once you get the knack - Not a bad tool for trimming iron on edge banding. The trick I learned is to use it one side at a time. If you try to trim both sides at once it snags and tears the edge banding and also requires more force, meaning if it goes wrong it can ruin your work. Can’t see the blades lasting too long but it got me through my project and I can always pick up more. I currently trim the edging with a sharp chisel keeping it flat to the board. The veneered board I purchase is too expensive for tools that dig in ot scratch the timber when trimming against e grain. I have read mixed feedback and am still unsure **Q: Will this trim rounded corners on a worktop?** A: The Stanley Laminate Trimmer is primarily designed for trimming both sides of edging strips. e.g. on cabinet doors and that is what I have used it for. Although you have an option of adjusting for a tapered cut on one side, I don't believe that it is designed to do what you are asking for. I hope this answers your question. **Q: can you get spare blades** A: To the best of my knowledge, there are no replacement blades supplied for this tool by Stanley.
