**Q: Is this plug and play? I receive some instructions  with it and nothing really seems to match with what I see on the website and the instructions.**

bought this to replace unreliable powerline ethernet for my server, as the MT7610U chipset is supported since linux 4.19 allegedly. it was recognised immediately in dmesg, and i just had to update the interface name in wicd config

Very good quality WiFi adapter. I had some cheap anténa in my TV box before and the WiFi signal was dropping, picture was freezing. With this piece of kit it's great, WiFi works flawlessly and I don't need to keep restarting the box. Highly recommended
