I therefore decided to buy a cleaner specifically for quartz rather than using bog standard kitchen cleaner. This product was reasonably priced when compared with other products and I had used other HG brand products in the past and was happy with them. I thought it worked really well. it was strong enough to remove grease but gentle enough to protect the quartz. I did not find that it left streaks, provided you wiped it away thoroughly afterwards. There's a weird Dettol smell but only in a kind of comforting way. I was using it quite a few times a day and so the bottle didn't last particularly long. So, I have found that I do an initial clean with Method spray which is £3 from Tesco and then a few squirts and polish just a couple of times a day seems to be sufficient.
