A huge perk for me, and the main reason I purchased this particular winch is that it uses the same controller as my 8000 pound Suerwinch on my car trailer so I don't have to carry different controllers for the two winches. For powering the winch, I have 25' of 6 gauge pure copper cable with clamps Road Power 400C-2 500-Amps Booster Cable Clamps, Red/Black, 2-Pack on one end, and mini Anderson style connectors HYCLAT 6-10 GAUGE Battery Quick Connect/Disconnect Wire Harness Plug Connector Recovery Winch Trailer on the ends of the cables to connect them.
