Barry M Cosmetics Neptune Lip Paint, blue

I came across these after I’d been searching for the much more expensive Lipstick Queen transformative lipsticks but seeing as these were way cheaper I thought I’d give them a go first. I ordered Neptune and also Unicorn but the unicorn hasn’t arrived yet. I was a bit apprehensive about Neptune- I saw a few online videos of people trying it and just looking like they’d eaten a punnet of blueberries or a few too many glasses of merlot. I also don’t really choose purpley shades as my skin is warmer toned and they usually don’t suit me.When I applied it, it went on nicely and felt smooth. It started off looking quite blue but then after a few seconds turned a really quite nice shade of purpley pink that I think suited me quite well. I have medium-light skin with yellow/neutral undertones and brown hair, hazel eyes and this definitely brought out the green in my eyes. I wouldn’t wear it every single day but I’ll definitely choose it for certain outfits.One thing I would say with this one is to make sure your lips are exfoliated as I noticed it did cling to the patchy bits and stayed more of a blue colour. I also needed to smoosh my lips together to make sure the colour was evened out but it felt really moisturising and comfortable.Can’t wait for the Unicorn shade to arrive!Update - the Unicorn is here! I’m just as pleased with this one. The colour is quite bright on me which makes me think I won’t bother to get the green Genie shade as that seems to go even brighter. I’m really happy though and it’s definitely a wearable everyday shade. They kind of feel just like a lip balm so I don’t worry too much about it smudging or anything. Nice for a “I didn’t make too much effort but still look made up” look.

This came out so well! Quite pigmented and lasts most of the day. More moisturising than traditional lipsticks and reasonably smudge proof.

Really nice lipstick , stays on and a great colour , leaves lips feeling very soft

Love this lipstick! The colour changing element is awesome. And the fact that it gives you your own personal shade is really cool. I get compliments every time I wear it. I liked it so much I got the green one too!

I bought this blue lipstick for my upcoming ice Queen look. However when I apply it to my lips and skin it turns bright purple! It’s really bizarre. Don’t buy it if you want blue. Don’t be fooled that it looks blue.

This is a hybrid lipstick/lipbalm, so it's fairly sheer, but leaves a really nice tint on the lips that lasts for a while, gradually fading. I bought Neptune, which starts off purple, then fades over time to a pink. Hydrates the lips nicely. Will be purchasing the others in this collection.

This is more like ‘mood’ lipstick. It has a bright pink undertone, and a bit navy blue but it’s a lipgloss, not the matt lipstick in the picture.

Got the blue one, if you apply a small amount it turns a very delicate pink. Each layer on top makes it closer to a deep violet.What was super surprising was that it stays on for ages! I tried it out and it stayed on all day, couldn't get it off with just water and tissues, had to use a real make-up remover.

Ich habe diesen und 2 andere Lippenstifte von Barry M Cosmetics ausprobiert und war so vegeistert, dass ich gleich nochmal welche zum Verschenken hekauft habe. Die Farben sind schön kräftig und halten lange und es immer wieder cool zu sehen wie die Farbe des Lippenstiftes auf den Lippen zu einer anderen wird.

Wunderschön wenn man einen etwas intensiveren Beerenton mag

Ich mag wie duch fie Farbe ändert u die Lippen sind auch gleich gefettete. Volle Kaufempfehlung

Ich besitze bereits einen Barry M Lippenstift in Grün/Pink und liebe ihn. Die dunkle Variante in Blau/Lila gefällt mir genauso gut, das Lila sieht spitze aus und der Lippenstift hält super auf den Lippen. Ich freue mich auf andere Farbkombis, denn das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist meiner Meinung nach Spitze.

Farbe ist was ich wollt,aber, nicht langhaltend.
