Seriously though, unless you have concerns about their weight i don't think you need to restrict this as it is part of their core diet and not a treat. **Q: Is this food actually good for my chinchilla?** A: It's the best. The pretty, muesli type of food isn't as good nutritionally. We did loads of research when we got ours. They were about 10 and 12 when we got them and they lived another 7 and 8 years.
