If I only used it for slicing potatoes it would be worth the money but it cuts other foods just as easily. This one is sharp (the other one had no cut at all so I'm assuming it was defective). It cuts through a variety of vegetables.The only thing is it will take some getting use to. I still prefer my chopping board and knife but I guess it is really a matter of practice and preferences. Overall, a good product and good costumer services from seller.Original review below.Didn't have the time to return this as it was a Christmas present for my mum and she lives abroad.Long story short: the blade is completely blunt and it will only cut very had vegetables (potatoes, carrots) anything slightly softer will just get squashed. We've tried to sharpen it but it is an awkward shape to do so (at least on my sharpener) and she said she will try at home.Otherwise will be only used for carrots.
