I received 2 different answers. Which is right?** A: They come on bed string attached but best screw all now especially on top bunk bottom can do every other. I sent this back because the gap between the bottom and top bunk is really small **Q: Can the ladder be placed at either end of the bed?** A: Yes **Q: Are the slats already fitted to the base when it arrives or do you have to fit and screw them in individually?** A: They arrive spaced and conected together with nylon strapping. All you have to do is unroll and attach the top and bottom slats.
