Follow up after first review, I contacted Aqua Pure to return it under my 1-year warranty and this is what I got: "Since your AquaPure was purchased through Amazon, we are unable to process a refund directly from our end. I recommend contacting Amazon's customer service for assistance with your request. They should be able to provide you with options for a resolution, as they handle all transactions made through their platform.” Neither company would stand by their promise!!I am very surprised by so many glowing reviews of this product. They say how much cleaner and fresher the produce is, how much better it tastes, how much dirt and bacteria the unit removes. I found absolutely no difference in appearance or taste. No dirt in the water like so many claimed. And if someone claims that it removed bacteria, that is simply not true. Remember, you can’t see bacteria so it is impossible to know if it removed any.Most of the positive reviews read like commercials or influencers selling the product. This is an actual review with the same verbiage as the manufacturer’s sales pitch. “If you're someone who values fresh and clean produce but worries about harmful contaminants lurking on fruits and vegetables, the AquaPure Fruit and Vegetable Washing Machine is your answer.
