**Q: Does this clock have a light in it?**
A: No not a light, but the clock face is illuminated in the dark.

**Q: Can you hear the ticking?**
A: Absolutely NO ticking can be heard from my clock - to the amazement & delight of my "ticking obsessed" other-half. However, when the alarm goes off, you really do jump out of bed to turn it off as it's v. loud. So I guess it works !! x

**Q: what are the dimension of the item?**
A: The actual clock is 2 1/2 ins sq. it is in a small black plastic case which is 3 ins sq. hope this helps?

**Q: Some reviewers say the hands are illuminated at night, others that they aren't !  Which is it?  Thank you.**
A: Hi the hands do glow at night but I cannot see them without turning the light on. So I would have to say not. The clock keeps good time and is very quiet though.

So far I’m really pleased with this travel alarm clock. It’s well made, sturdy and nicely designed. It’s a bit tricky to set the time and alarm, but maybe it’ll be easier if I remove the battery cover, then replace it afterwards, as there’s not much room to get hold of the buttons otherwise. That’s the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars. It’s a good size for travelling with, and the dial face is easy to read. The actual alarm is a good volume and there is no ticking noise to disturb my sleep throughout the night. I think it’s good value for the price, and I’m definitely not disappointed that I bought it.
