I took a punt when I purchased it. If you were considering changing the fitting (I did) from patio gas to a regular propane then the hose inner diameter is around 6mm not the more common 8mm - still doable with a cheap 6-8mm brass converter). Does anyone know where I can buy the correct bottle?** A: it fits on a calor patio gas bottle, i have the large grey one, but you can also get a smaller red one. i took it to the gas centre and asked them to try it, before i bought the gas bottle. it fits perfectly and works really well. hope that helps. **Q: I haveca patio gas bottle and the pipe just will not connect securely and pops off! Make sure it moves in and out (it's spring loaded), and look at the catch inside the valve that this button moves... Is it damaged /worn?...
