Took a few attempts to get used to the peeler before I got it right but there no stopping me now. Yeh it's one more thing to wash n clean but it's easy done and I feel like there less waste. Yes the actual crusher is smart and will leave the peel in its holder but I feel there is less waste and you get more garlic out if you peel it first. The item is very strong and not as much effort required to crush the clove as in other crushers so well done for whatever you done on that side. Easy to clean and it all comes apart easy enough to do that. Arrived on time and in a lovely presentation box and great customer service with emails providing contact details should there be any issues. More than pleased with this purchase. Would recommend Review: Good alternative to the usual dainty little crushers. - Garlic peeler itself is a revelation. No garlic smell under the finger nails for days on end for me now. The crusher is a fair bit better than others I have used. It is bigger and beefier, more heavy duty and so crushes big cloves with ease. The swing out crusher element makes it easier to clean. The handles have the eyelet attached so these can be hung on the kitchen tool rack and hook set rather than letting it rattle around in the "useful things" drawer. Recommended. Update - Having now had a chance to use the silicone peeler gadget I find that it doesn't really work too well. It can loosen the garlic clove skin but is a bit gimmicky. It will inevitably get mislaid at some point and I probably won't spend very long looking for it :) ## Features - THE LAST GARLIC PRESS YOU WILL EVER NEED. Many presses corrode or break. Not this one. Promise! Every single part is made from solid, premium grade stainless steel. After years of use it will look just as good as the day you bought it - EASY TO SQUEEZE WITH MINIMAL WASTE. No matter how strong your grip is, large comfortable handles and smart design ensure you'll have no trouble squeezing out a tonnes of flavour pack garlic mince. Many crushers leave half the garlic still in the chamber, but ours will mince virtually the whole clove. - BEAUTIFULLY PACKAGED FOR GIFTING. The press alone is a thing of beauty, but we go one step further. Everyone is delivered in an exquisite, fabric lined presentation box, making it the perfect gift for anyone who loves to cook. - SUPER EASY TO CLEAN IN THE DISHWASHER OR SINK. Once you're done pressing, clean up will takes less than a minute. Flip out the basket and rinse off any garlic residue, then pop it in the dishwasher. That's it! No more wasting time on clean up. - International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00I937QEI | | Best Sellers Rank | 1,947,629 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 834 in Garlic Presses | | Brand | Alpha Grillers | | Brand Name | Alpha Grillers | | Colour | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 13,456 Reviews | | Dishwasher safe? | Yes | | Included Components | Bonus cleaning brush, Garlic press, Peeler | | Is the item dishwasher safe? | Yes | | Item Dimensions L x W | 19L x 6W centimetres | | Item Type Name | AL-03 | | Item Weight | 286 g | | Item weight | 286 g | | Manufacturer | Alpha Grillers | | Manufacturer Part Number | 820103971416 | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | Stainless Steel Mincer and Crusher | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product dimensions | 19L x 6W centimetres | | UPC | 793842000870 802567707084 820103971416 802567723329 885500492018 802567697880 | ## Product Details - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Colour:** Black - **Brand:** Alpha Grillers - **Product dimensions:** 19L x 6W centimetres - **Item weight:** 0.63 Pounds ## Images ![Alpha Grillers Garlic Press and Peeler Set. Peeler helps prevent getting smelly fingers *by M***. on 19 April 2017* This product feels good and sturdy. The garlic chamber could use being larger - thought you'd be able to get more than one clove in there. Does mince ginger as well, but beware, you will get a fair amount of pulp left in the press (which you can easily flick out into your dish) and the ginger will end up getting juiced a bit. This is actually really useful when the ginger is for a marinade ## Frequently Bought Together - Alpha Grillers Garlic Press and Peeler Set. Stainless Steel Mincer and Silicone Tube Roller.
