Review: Really good value for money - When you don't have a lot of money it's very difficult to chose a stockpot. Do you push the boat out and spend more or do you risk it and spend a little less and hope you don't buy a lemon and it ends up costing you double. Well you want be disappointed by this pot. Treat it with respect let it warm up slowly and it will hold it's heat. This pot looks lovely and it great. I've made big batches of curry and bolenase frozen portions down. Sorry about the spelling it's late. I'm really pleased with this pot, really good value for money. Take care and I hope you have successful dishes from it.

**Q: How thick are the pan wall and base. Also, why is item described as '3-piece'**
A: This a really good quality pan with better then average thickness! I have just purchased a second because after a year of use, the first it is still immaculate. The glass lid has vents in the deep lip so makes straining contents easy. It is not 3 piece, just the pan and lid but I would recommend without hesitation.

**Q: Hi, if you turn the lid so the holes arent beneath the spout, is the lid pretty much air tight? Will need a near air tight lid when cooking rice eg.**
A: I keep getting asked questions about an item that I didn't buy. What I bought was Thomas porcelain dishes so I have no idea about this question.
