Thought this was a great answer to the remote TV problems that Sky introduced with its Sky+ box BUT
Was a 5 star but not after the failures (see below)When Sky replaced their old Skyboxes with the new Sky+ one, they decided to remove the RF Out connector that enabled additional TV's with magic eyes [which enables change of programme from the remote location using the same or additional remote control]. They presumably did this to sell additional sky boxes to do this task. Sky do provide a plug in unit (SkyLink) to replicate this but at cost [Currently £10) and this does not replicate the socket to allow a normal arial to be connected to enable Freeview to be provided to the remote TV's. They also reduced the power that the Skybox puts out to enable the magic eye to work so that only one magic eye is possible, and then it is cable distance related.I have a remote splitter box which enables connection of up to 4 additional TV's with magic eyes which worked well before the change but stopped with the change of skybox due to the lack of power. After a lot of research [Sky were useless when it came to giving advice on this subject]I found that I had 3 options to replace the service.1 Buy a power unit (PSU) to power the splitter box in situ (It's in the attic and so I would have needed to provide a power socket as well.)2 I could buy a power unit and a special in line plug that fits between the Skylink and the cable going to the attic to add back the power.3 I could buy the Triax IO Link and PSU to replace the SkylinkI opted for the latter and find that it works exactly as the old box used to, it also provides the socket to feed in the standard arial to enable Freeview to work on the remote sets.Update: The product failed after a week. The supplier is replacing it via the Amazon process (they, slowly, replaced the Triax unit but forgot the power unit which they now say is on the way) I hope thet this is just a one off failure but will update should the second one fail.Update 2: The product failed again after a week, am now waiting for supplier to come back with options.

Brilliant a must!!
Our old sky box allowed us to easily connect sky to all other TVs in the house. The newer wifi ones don't. This device allows me to connect SKY to every TV in my house. Note ONLY to watch the same channel in every room. This means if we are watching a film hubby can be in one room and I can be in the kitchen ironing. I still need to go to main TV to change channels etc but understand I can get a magic eye if I want. (or now SKYQ) Picture quality very good. Word have preferred better instructions, though we worked it out. The metal aerial connection point must be a bit small or my aerial connector not a very good one as it was not a tight fit and kept dropping off. We had to tape it on. Short cable means all dangling a bit. Would have been better longer so we could sit it on the floor. Having said we would not be without this device. Our Sky man suggested it when replacing our box which was very kind and much appreciated. My sister had her box replace within a few weeks and her sky man said there was nothing to be done to be able to watch sky in other rooms.!!

YOUR MAGIC EYES WILL NOT WORK WITH SKYHD+ BOX WITHOUT THIS UNIT!
IMPORTANT: You definitely need one of these (with power supply as shown above) if you are upgrading from the old Sky+ box to the new SkyHD+ box and have magic eyes powering other TV's around your house. Without this Triax unit you will find that the picture will be sent to your magic eye TV's but the picture will be fuzzy and the remote control won't control all your other TV's.I bought the Sky I O link box from sky and it doesn't power enough voltage to the magic eyes, the picture is a bit better but there is nothing you can do to make it power your magic eyes. There are instructions on Youtube but all you do is power up your SkyHD+ box, then connect this Trix powered I O link and it will work straight away - look for a video which shows you how to access a secret code on your new HD box to switch "ON" the voltage to the Triax I O link, again without this the whole process will fail. We had the Sky engineer call and he could not get the new box to power the magic eyes without installing this little unit for us. The picture is great on all the TV's and when using the remote it's very fast. IMPORTANT: You with also need "F plug to RF" - search on Amazon, I bought them here - you need a male and a female (£3 for both). I wasted money buying all sorts of boxes and fittings and wasted a week trying everything to make the new box work with our magic eyes, if you need help, do contact me and I can send you the Youtube links that will show you how to set up, remember you need those male and female fittings also as they don't come with the box. Kind regards, Quentin

Using Sky+HD with Remote TV
Very easy to set up.Needed this as just changed from ancient Sky+ box to a Sky+HD box that no longer has a direct RFOUT2 signal to go to remote TV with a magic eye. This new setup works better than the original Sky+ RFOUT setup. Remote picture is better than before!I did find it worth while to try lots of different CH number settings on the SKY box to get the one that minimised any cross talk between the Freeview and Sky signal.Another interesting point was on my old setup I had to fit a 6dB in-line attenuator to the aerial input to minimise cross talk. With this new setup, no attenuator required. I did try it, but it did nothing.Much prefer this product to the Sky I/O link as it has the extra RFOUT to feed back to local TV to show Freeview there as well as on remote TV.All in all works really well - excellent product.

I O link for sky 2TB box
Having the same problem as everyone else in getting a sky picture on the tv upstairs with the sky 2TB box, I first bought sky's own tv io link..although I could get a picture,if somewhat grainy, the sky remote would not control the tv upstairs. And then I came across this little box by triax which I bought with the PSU . Pluged it in to the back of the sky box downstairs, then switched the telly on upstairs and hey presto I had a clear picture and the remote controlled the sky box downstairs.SORTED.All I can say is that it worked for me,but I would buy the PSU to go with it just to give the signal from the sky box a bit of a boost.
