Review: Mosquito Treatment That Actually Works! - Understanding that there are different kinds of mosquitos and not all products work on all types in all areas, I was a little hesitant buying this product. However in my area of San Antonio, Texas the product has been exceptional! I use a fogger machine and immediately after the application the mosquitos do get bad as they are disturbed, but after a few hours there are virtually none. The product lasts about 2-3 weeks and if it rains then you'll have to reapply sooner, however as I've read up, all mosquito treatments are like ths. It does have a bit of a funky smell but that goes away in a few hours, I also add some fragrance to ease the smell, I've been told lavender oil (mosquitos hate it) is best so I will add that. Overall this product has been great for my backyard and I will definitely purchase it again! Review: It works! - This stuff works really well. The smell dissipates in a couple of hours and the repellent lasts about a week, maybe two depending on rain. We are in Florida and our house backs up to a woody area. Our next door neighbor has an old pool with standing water. When we bought this house the mosquitoes were unbearable. I tried a chemical spray, which did work but my dog had hives everytime I used it. I hated using it anyway and that was enough to look for another option. This works just as well and is safe for my pets. It also got rid of whiteflies in my watermelon patch. I ordered neem oil for that, but just happened to spray this for the mosquitoes before the neem arrived. Went out there the next morning and the whiteflies were gone too. I do not notice a reduction in butterflies, we have a lot. We've never had many bees to begin with so not sure about those guys. I do notice an increase in black flies. I will take that over the skeeters all day and twice on Sunday! ## Features - Causes serious eye damage. - Flammable liquid and vapour. - May cause respiratory irritation. - Use biocides safely. That said, this formula was not created, tested or approved for use on skin or clothes. If you were to try spraying it on your clothing, we need to warn you that you may smell like an Italian restaurant for quite awhile...but you'll still repel zanzara! In bocca al lupo! **Q: Newbie and almost ripped off my fingernails. how do you get the red seal out of the bottle to access the liquid? mosquits are laughing. :p** A: Oh my goodness! We are just seeing this message now and hope your nails are okay! Use a pair of pliers to pull it out or wedge a flat-head screwdriver between the red cap and the lip of the bottle and flip upwards. We are obliged to have this seal on the bottles for shipping purposes. Once removed they make great hats for small pets :-) **Q: What is the products effect on beneficial insects (lady bugs, honey bees, praying mantis, etc?)** A: Hi Laura, Thank you for your interest. Our feedback from customers has indicated that butterfly count remains the same, it may even be a nutrient for honey bees and totally safe for Koi fish. Soft skinned biting insects are targeted.I hope this is helpful. Sprinkler Magician Team. **Q: Is this safe to use in a vegtable garden?** A: Yes, absolutely! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mosquito Treatment That Actually Works! *by J***I on 14 October 2020* Understanding that there are different kinds of mosquitos and not all products work on all types in all areas, I was a little hesitant buying this product. We did get a lot of rain, but I’d hoped it would be more effective. We had plenty mosquitos even after using this. It has a pretty strong garlic odor. At over $100/gal, I’d like it to be more effective, and keep mosquitos away for at least a few days. You use 6oz product to make 1gal of spray. That should mean 21 gallons of spray for that 1 gal of product. I use 3-4 gallons each application. ## Frequently Bought Together - Mosquito Magician Liquid Concentrate - Kills Mosquitoes, Fleas, and Fire Ants - Use with Pump or Backpack Sprayers, Foggers, or Automatic Misting Machines - Ideal for Yards, Lawns, Patios - 1 Gallon - CSI Tekko Pro IGR Insect Growth Regulator 16 Oz - 3HP Turbo Backpack Mosquito Fogger Leaf Blower 3.7 Gallon Tank for Pest Control --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/488398658-mosquito-magician-natural-mosquito-and-insect-repellent-concentrate-1-gallon](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/488398658-mosquito-magician-natural-mosquito-and-insect-repellent-concentrate-1-gallon) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
