It’s better for the environment. But the paint around the handle starts peeling off after a weeks worth of using. A natural varnish should’ve just suffice. Honestly, it doesn’t bother me. I just peel it off. The brush itself is durable. It stays flat and cleans easily. As long as you watch it right away after using, I think it’ll last. I’ll buy it again.
