Historically my canine babies (Italian Spinonis) are very picky eaters, however every single time I offer this whether for a dinner meal or a midday snack, they inhale them! It’s incredible, actually! I feel great about the quality of this diet (so rich in protein) being a balanced and wholesome diet free of additives, from cage free animals! It is exactly what I look for in their food. Theres no odor to the food, and it’s easily digested as they have the most regular tummy (bowel) history of any of our pets to date. It’s a wee bit pricey, however, I was taught one gets what they pay for in a quality item. So, to me, for their health and happiness, I highly recommend giving it a try! We love it!

**Q: How many nuggets per 14oz bag?**
A: It’s not so much about the nuggets, it’s about your dog’s weight, and whether or not you want the dog to maintain, lose, or gain weight. I have a 13 pound dog and she gets 3.5 nuggets to maintain her weight. I have to say, that my beautiful dog had a tearing problem with terrible face stains for over a year. I tried everything to no avail. I soon as she started eating this food, they went away and have not returned. She is now the beautiful dog that we knew she was inside. In a perfect world it would be $10 a bag, but it is really good quality and we are committed to using it. She also was very reluctant to eat all the different kinds of foods that we try. She gobbles this up in five seconds and loves it.

**Q: How much of this would you feed daily to a 6 lb dog?  How large are the nuggets?  Thank you!**
A: The size of the nuggets (all formulas) is approx. 2"long, 1"high, 1" deep.  The amount to feed changes based of formula, altho' not by much.  For example, beef is denser than chicken so you feed a little less.  Our girls (poodles) are 4.5 lbs and 8 lbs.  I went to the primal site (primalpetfoods.com) and they have an easy calculation table of how much to feed based on weight, formula and whether you want to increase, decrease or maintain weight.  Our 4.5 girl gets one block of chicken 2x a day mixed with water making it soft.  Our girls love chicken, beef, lamb, haven't really tried other formulas.  It is an excellent nutritional food. A: I just opened my 1st bag and dumped it out. NO BUGS! 14 oz. had 58 nuggets!
