I was really looking for coffee that I could order online sometimes when things get hectic that was also small batch, environmentally conscious, and family owned. I first had their coffee at a local bagel shop and decided to try it at home. I worked at a local, coffee shop for seven years while I completed my BA and MS. I drink a lot of coffee.I’ve been looking for a coffee that is sustainably farmed and this company seems to be doing that. The coffee brewed well in my home coffee pot (it’s a pour over flat bottom filter pot with a glass lined carafe). The flavor was good. It’s not acidic at all. Really easy flavor. People who came over liked drinking it. And a friend put cream in it and that seemed to work. This is one of my few favorites. A med-Dark roast with complexity. The fashionable over hyped coffee roasts, and there are many, like Blue Bottle and others, are fads and arenot for people who like rich Italian espressos.
