Not at all. The control box is fairly bulky and rests on the side of the head & also has a speaker built in. The opposite side is fine as it is just a thin speaker. The design makes it impossible 2 sleep on your side as the large control box is in the way. The head band is a very thick material that makes the user hot. Possibly if you're a jogger and live in a cold climate these would work.
