Not sure why it usually comes with the proviso 'suitable for evening wear', as to me it's a fresh, floral smell which is ideal for daytime, or any time for that matter. It's quite strong and lasting, which imo is a good thing; you don't have to carry it with you and keep re-applying. The bottle design is lovely and the value - less than half the RRP - is excellent.
