Very comfortable, and has helped enormously to relieve pain whilst recovering. I bought this size rather than the 15" version, and it is perfect for me. I am male, 75 kilos, and 5'10". It comes with a small pump, which is adequate. The valve is just like that on a lilo. Do make sure to push the nozzle well into the valve to open the airway whilst inflating. Deflate by squeezing the sides of the valve.
