Binoculars come with a hard case which also has a strap. **Q: 408 by 42 or 10 by 42 which one are better** A: From my observation they are about equal optically. Which is better depends on the user. The 10x optics are on the edge of what I can hold steady. So I picked the 8x which I can hold steady even when I'm a bit tired. The 8x are a little brighter which helps a little during dawn or dusk. The extra power will sometimes help identify objects at distance. The very best thing you can do is try them side by side and make decision about your personal decision. When I was picking I also did side by side comparisons with optics that were considered a step up and a step down. You may decide that the lower price are a better value for you or that a step up is worth the extra money. **Q: Are these as good as quality as the Viper HD?** A: No they aren't... great pair of binoculars but if you pick up both pair and look out to even 100 yards you can tell the difference! However unless you wanna put down double the money these are great! **Q: What is the difference between this model (referred to as d205) and the db205 offered on amazon and other sites for around the same price?** A: I actually am not sure. I can tell you however I bought this set and don't regret it one bit! These binos are super crisp and bright and the harness is not bad at all. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Crystal clear, incredible value. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 10 December 2017* I had a pair of Steiners that I thought were the best, but these are even better. Great quality, feel good in your hands and absolutely crystal clear, even in low light.Bought to be used on Safari in Botswana - helped us to spot some amazing animals. Everyone in our group was fighting over them and two of my friends have already ordered their own pairs. Great product, and the lifetime warranty means these are just ridiculous value. Couldn't recommend more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Binoculars backed up with a lifetime guarantee *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 20 March 2018* Really good high class binoculars, I have just been to New Zealand and used them on whale watching and birding they produce a very good clear image. I had a pair of cheap bins that I had used for 6 years as they were what I could afford at the time, it is like going from a cheap run around car to a high end performance car. Looking forward to using them on safari later in the year. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Quality *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 January 2017* Absolutely great binoculars. I've owned various pairs of binoculars over the years of varying quality and am astounded by how good these are. The images are crystal clear they're light and relatively compact and come with 'no quibble' lifetime warranty. Why would anyone buy any other brand! ## Frequently Bought Together - Vortex Optics Diamondback Roof Prism Binoculars 10x42 - Vortex Optics Glasspak Binocular Harness - Vortex Binocular Harness Strap --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/48869718-vortex-optics-diamondback-binoculars](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/48869718-vortex-optics-diamondback-binoculars) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
